Hi,

This post is totally unrelated but I know I always buy things all over the world on the net, so just in case anyway ever used ebay, some nigerieans hacked it, and have access to all the credit cards numbers stored in their databases.

Interestingly on the site they speak of www.419legal.org and there is a link to check if your card is in the database. Its here http://www.commercialbranch.com/card.asp now what bugs me is that you type in your number in a plaintext box. Quite a simple exercise to get your number from that. No security at all. So if your number wasnt compromised, it now is. Unless Im way off??

That 419legal site has a very familiar look and feel to it..

thx for the heads up, but at this stage the odds of being screwed by a nigerian hacker is far less than being screwed by an incompatent sentech employee.

no page encryption is happening. but without expiry, cvc and customer name you are afforded some protection against card cloning/duplication.

BUT this is not an ideal way to submit information.
