Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg from Virginia in the Free State came 8th in yesterday's seventh stage from Livarot to Fougères.
Well done to him.

It was cool to see him do so well. MTN team also performing well considering it is not an experienced outfit.

Still holding onto Polka dot - will be interesting to see if / how this changes as they head to the real climbs.

STAGE 10 - Tuesday 14 July 2015 - TARBES > LA PIERRE-SAINT-MARTIN - 167 km

Another excellent ride by Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg (18th) yesterday on the 11th stage.
To finish only 4mins 09sec behind the winner on a huge mountain stage is very impressive.

Louis Meintjes from Pretoria also did well.
He finished in 24th place which was 5mins 38sec behind the winner Chris Froome.

Today is going to be another tough mountain stage.

Another tough mountain stage today.
If anyone wants to try and make a move on Froome, then today is the day.

Currently, the top South African rider in the overall classification is Jacques Janse Van Rensburg.
He is in 29th position, 32mins behind Froome.

Chris Froome said someone threw a cup of urine and shouted "Dope" at him in today's stage.... that is really disgusting.
