tower 126 pls read

I've been having huge problems on tower 126 , especially this past
weekend since I think about Friday. Today (Sunday July 4) I phoned in and the help desk assistant said I am the only person they've had complain about speed problems on 126 this whole weekend.

If anyone else has had any problems with 126 please post here and say so , cause I'm getting about 3Kb/s max and I'd like to know how it's possible I'm the only person on the tower experiencing these problems

Phone them back and tell them you don't CARE who else has phoned in ... you have problems and YOU want resolution to those problems. Get a ticket - e-mail and phone them 2 times a day until you make progress.

I've mailed them, phoned them and all .. haven't gotten any replies yet. Speeds have gone up slightly to about 4Kb/s (read off tucows.co.za) but I mean it's still pathetic.. .

Quite funny, I got kicked off a p2p network with the message "please change connection type from DSL to 28.8" , I had one download going off a guy on a T3 connection and I was averaging about 800b/s , really.. pathetic.

Anyways, I figure if I just keep moaning hopefully something will get done, but I mean they really don't do much to make one feel confident. It sounds as if they're more baffled as to the cause of the problem than I am.

open a gawd damn ticket

if there is an open ticket you have evidence that there is a logged complaint on tower 126 and you can use that against them to get some action, you can then, after the ticket is being kept open until you see some decent speeds for at LEAST 2 weeks, close the ticket, if nothing comes off of it, contact their financial department stating you want credit for the time the ticket has been open for, or site it as a reason for trying to cancel your contract

also, please read the other forums so you can get clued up on what to do, mkay?
