I dig the FJ. Maybe the ugly looks will mean good deals on used ones in a year or 2's time?

Thats a cheap Hummer. Looks pretty fugly. maybe if i was a Sandton housewife and I needed lots of space for shopping without having to worry about potholes.

Trying to be like Hummer now?

I don't dislike it, think it's okay. Would like to see one in person though.

I'm pretty sure it'll out perform and out last the H3 :p

Its designed to look like its predecessor. :)

Think I must go for a test drive... apparently its quite capable offroad.

When you're there test drive the fortuner. New one available next month, or you can get the current one at about 50k discount (if theres any left).

H3 cost less a few years back and, as we know, was useless. This cost more, but can do a lot more... It is not "a cheap Hummer". I like it.

Yeh... I was thinking of the Fortuner... but I think this might be more offroad capable.

Why not just get a Hilux? :D

Hilux was my first choice... but feel like something different.

If you're getting something for offroad, the Fortuner really is quite capable. Went with a friend to the Hennopsriver 4x4 trail a couple of weeks ago in his (4x2) Fortuner and he got through obstacles most of the veterans there thought he wouldn't. Now, add in proper 4x4 and low-range and I'm convinced the Fortuner would take anything you throw at it in its stride... Just remember to take off the side-steps before you tackle a trail. :p
