Toyota has unveiled a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) version of its Fortuner SUV.

Called the TRD Fortuner Sportivo, the vehicle takes on a more sporty look than its predecessors – but keeps its existing performance

:confused:

Toyota should release a TRD kit for local Fortuner owners, so they can stop blocking the right lane with their slow, fat asses.

Now you can look like a body kitted douche instead of a regular douche.

Good thing that it will not be available locally, just imagine how many would have ended up on their roofs. SA people don't appreciate the fact that it's still a bakkie with a high centre of gravity and can't go around bends like a car. Yes it can go 190km/h on the flats of the karoo and 110km/h uphill, but around the twisties it's a bakkie.

Chrome tip on a diesel exhaust... I don't have words.

/Flamesuit on
//Troll mode off

It looks nice though with the black roof and wheels.

They make a Hilux p03s edition(Legend 45 and Dakar), makes sense to do a Fortuner as well.... They would've sold thousands here...

So Toyota's racing division now just develops cosmetic changes? Change the name from TRD to TFD, Toyota Fashion Development. They didn't do anything to the engine or suspension, and changed the rims to 20", so they won't be going off tar. What a waste.
