Toyota South Africa is getting back on its feet after intense floods damaged its Durban-based factory and wrote off 88% of the cars on site.

Those rumors have been floating around for the past 5 or 10 years… think they’d shoot themselves in the foot if they left, without finding a suitable replacement site.

Obviously they'd find a suitable replacement site first. That's a given. If they're rumours then fine. But I do know they supposedly met with government after the riots and looting in Durban last year to discuss things.
