A bit late to the game but a good start to battery electric vehicles by Toyota. The Quantum must be next! ;) The steer by wire with the Yoke will be interesting but I think Toyota won’t be the last manufacturer to introduce it.

Toyota unveils first electric SUV – What you need to know

Toyota has released all the details of its first electric SUV - the bZ4X BEV.

If all manufacturers start producing electrical vehicles and it becomes cheap to buy, I would say half the price for the same vehicle compared to fuel(Less moving parts to manufacture), how will this effect:
1-The fuel price...Seeing this is a perceived dead horse-? (For those that recently bought fuel vehicles and be more cost effective to keep it going if paid off or cash bought)-?
2-The value of any fuel vehicle, theres already loads of them for years standing on pavements in front of shops for sale without owners, I always thought that was a lot of cars the owners don't wanted-?
3-Could this be a collapse of trades depending on fuel cars-?
4-How will this be synced in to economies, or is this uncontrolled runaway train if electric can be successful at half the price plus running costs over 15 year period(This is where the cows be seperated from the calves, when the battery chickens comes to roost)-? At moment it seems this is forced by EU under the Climate Banner, so shifts in power struggles, the EU seems to be the worlds new boss-?

Taxi drivers don't have the patience for a red light, you think they're gonna wait for a charge?

Well at a fraction of the cost of diesel or petrol per kilometer I rate taxi drivers will gladly recharge overnight wherever they might live as long at that electric quantum has like 200 km of range. Maybe then they’ll have money over for some due maintenance
