TP LINK MR 3420 V2 WITH E3276S-920(NON-HI LINK) ON TELKOM LTE

I am currently running the TP Link MR 3420 V2 on the latest stock firmware ( September 2014 ). The E3276 runs perfectly on the router plugged directly to the USB port. I also have a LPDA-0092(11Dbi gain) plugged in.
Signal shows 83-87%. No reboots, it works.

However the speeds are severly constrained for some reason. When the E3276 is plugged directly into my laptop, 50mbps easy(without the antenna), but in the MR3420 it just slows to a crawl.(3-10mbps) in comparison to the expected LTE speeds.
Are there any configuration settings I need to alter on the TP Link e.g MTU ???

Does anyone run this setup and achieve LTE speeds???

I have also run Open-Wrt's Huntsman(January 14), the speed improves but only marginally to about 15mbps. It is unstable and when you reboot it sometimes does not find the modem. I have flashed back to the original firmware which is very stable but still has the constrained speed issues. Solution BUY B593 HUAWEI
