Hi guys,

I have the following wifi router:

http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/networking_wireless_voip/tp-link/tl-wr941n/217490

I believe it is possible to run Open-WRT on this (I previously used dd-wrt on my Linksys wrt54g before Telkom blew that up).

Now my question is this. I have a 24dbi 2.4ghz grid antenna I would like to attach - how do I remove the antennas on the back and which antenna do I connect it to? There are 3...

Anyone who has this model working - or anyone who can offer any advice please do. Currently I am running my grid off my wifi nic and I would like to reduce signal loss by cutting out the 5 odd metres of cable.

Thanks
J

If rhe antennas are detacheable:

You need a pigtail.

Connect your pigtail to the antenna port closest to the power inlet of the router.

See if the config allows power settings to be changed per antenna.:D
