traceroute to international

when ever I ping or traceroute it always ended with local cloudflare.ixp.joburg. why is this not using to its international server to cnn or disney.
can someone please explain this...

Because those sites are using global content delivery networks that serve you content from the nearest node to you. Theoretically.

speedtest measure the ping inter, but is there a way to bypass local implemented node? is this only telkom or other isp also on this.
