A Jhb client had a break-in a few days ago.
One of the stolen Macbooks has remote management software loaded and we have details of the ip, Mac address and dns showing it is currently in Zambia and connecting to MTN.
Is there any point in querying this with MTN in order to trace the user/thief/purchaser of stolen goods, or should we just give the details to the local cops or insurers ?
