Hintry, is that Advantage actually usable, or is it too big? I am due for an upgrade in August, but bought my TyTN cash a while ago ... might look at doing the upgrade to E90/N95 and swap with you, but I am not sure it the Advantage will be a usable device for day to day use?

the Advantage is a straight up Bizniz tool ... i used one for a while and that device rocks ... but it would be advisable to have another phone. i used a data card in the Advantage ... no calls just internet usage. If screen size is what you need and a Laptop just gets way to heavy to lug around this the device of choice ... if you dont want to have to power up your laptop to hit send receive then this bad boy is for you.

I will keep my TyTN, and might just add the Advantage to my HTC collection

That's a tough question. I decided to get it based upon the fact that I thought it was carryable - its the same size as my wallet. Of course compared to other phones it is very large.

The reason I got it is that my company already has five E90s and I wanted to try something different. I realise now that I don't have the time or inclination to tweak it or buy apps for it.

Its an interesting device for a power Windows Mobile user.

Hey...the specs say Windows Mobile 6.0... I thought it came with WM5.0.

Do you want E90 + R2000 cash?

Or a N95 + R2000 cash?

Or either + R2000 cash?

/me confudled

E90 to swap for Advantage
N95 + R2000 cash to swap for Advantage

About WM5 ... I think that is the Advantage 7500, 7501 comes with WM6, but I can be wrong

You're right about the versions.

So... I'm getting an E90 as soon as Virgin actually does the port... dumbasses.

I'm in Gallo Manor, Sandton. (near Rivonia)

OK, here's a blow by blow account...

After pining for the E90 for 12 long months I couldn't wait for upgrade contracts so I went ahead and bought one for cash at Vodaworld. When they became available at MTN my company got another four.

I had mixed feelings about the E90 as I felt the Series 60 OS was dumbed down compared to the 9500's Series 80. And since I still had a spare upgradeable Talk 500 I decided to get the HTC on the promise of better things.

Then last week my wife's Nokia N93 was stolen at O.R. Tambo airport. It was partially my fault as her hand bag fell off a trolley I was pushing. (I say she should've been watching. There were about nine bags on the trolley and we were running late)

Anyway there's no way she's gonna use the HTC, hence this offer.
