Transparent Proxies or Throttling for Telkom LTE Uncapped?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Telkom is proxying or heavily shaping HTTP/HTTPS etc?

Apart from the usual "dead signal" problem I get between 23h00-3am quite often, another problem I have is the following:

FTP/sFTP Downloads : 43mbps (also fast for video streaming)
SMTP/HTTP/HTTPS : 1.2-0mbps

I get the same results no matter which order I test in.

I can for example, stream HD from AppleTV perfectly, then right after the movie try to browse Google.com or My Broadband and the sites time-out or take around 30-60 seconds to open.

This is happening on multiple devices but I don't know if anyone else gets it?

Not sure if it could help to change the APN to TelkomInternet...
unless yours is already set to this.

In terms of the drop off in connection, it could be that your signal is not very strong to start with but there are many factors at play so you would need to go through a process of elimination.
