Traveling to the USA New York and Atlanta with my iphone4

Hi i need some advice i am travelling to the USA for 2 weeks and im taking my ipad 3g and my iphone 4 with me any ideas on what carriers to use as at&t seems rather tricky to use with regards to their prepaid system. can anyone on the forum please help me?

I think you're pretty much stuck with AT&T - Verizon & Sprint runs CDMA which is incompatible with GSM devices. You could have a look at T-Mobile, but I am not sure if they use a rather weird band.

Thanks I found some more info: www.mrsimcard.com they are really good and I think way easier than doing it yourself they even courier the sim to your hotel before you get there.
