Hi all, heres the situation. Some of my users have Tro 650's.They try to acces our internal mail servers via Wireless active sync.It goes about halfway then bombs out(every single time) So yip it starts and authenticates and connect starts getting mail and pims then dies........V3G possibilities of the packets getting lost cos of size/encryption causing device to hang/crash??? forum : anyone sen this before?? And nw for the twist.........earlier models of the 650 received directly from the states : connect and sync 100%.
and yip we tested gprs connectivity to the web...that works........gprs to pop acc ....that works......im lost.....the build ,os and version are the same on the new ones and earlier ones and yet those work these dont (4 that specific program)
help would be soooooooooooooooo appreciated.

Have any of them upgraded from other Palm equipment? Sometimes remnants of drivers hang around and have to be manually removed. I had this problem when I upgraded from a Tungsten to Tungsten 3 my SMS program stopped working.

There is currently a issue with the SSL certificate that Exchange 2003 issues when the Treo 650 connects through active sync. As far as I know some guys has fixed it through registry changes and IIS changes so that the user can access it without the SSL certificate.

 Dont disable the SSL tunnel in Exchange! If you have Exchange, and you have mobile devices, rather let them connect via a corporate APN on the carrier network and terminate the connection behind your firewall. This is what we have done and its a. More secure, b. Easier to configure/manage, and c. Faster.
