Ok. However, I have to point out that; as a debating technique; rubbishing the position of others while not having a position of your own, that you believe in, is tedious for all concerned. It is almost the very definition of eff political rhetoric. there is no purpose whatsoever in a meaningless debate.

I have made many statements about my positions in this thread on other things.. I haven't stated my position on current Palestinian support for/against Hamas because I haven't seen any current evidence for it and I don't like taking a position without evidence to back it up.

On that, I have often thought the translators (into english - derek hockeridge and anthea bell iirc) were as crucial to the humour as the authors. Unfortunately takes flak today because of the portrayal of africans (the pirate lookout and some slaves etc) The artwork lampoons everyone involved but the africans are sacred. Its a crying shame.
