They can't.
Many saw them as liberators but now realize they don't give a shyt about Palestinians. It's almost as if they want Israel to occupy more territory. More incursions creates desperation, so people turn to their only source of help - Hamas.

There were service delivery protests that ended in bloodshed.

Its a lose-lose for the people.

Really? When the IDF arrested a reporter on Saturday in Sheikh Jarrah and released her on the condition that she doesn't return to the area for 15 days? Freedom of expression and movement right there.

Nice that you bring this up. Here's 2 (victims) residents of Shiekh Jarrah that are currently posting the atrocities that is happening there. What happens? They get arrested on some silly charges and have to be released as there is nothing of substance to the charges. Coming back to media suppression.
