Hey Guys

Ok i have a HAMA - not sure of the model- it is a NUMBER of years old but nice thick legs and has a nice high extension! In fact full extension is about 1.8m. I am not even sure if i should replace it BUT it seems like a good idea!

OK - I will use it for Video from my Sony Cam and photo's from the 600D with, at times, a BIGMA attached.

Now i have looked at Vanguard, Manfrotto etc. What do you think of the Benro A2682T Tripod with B-1 Ball Head and the PU-60 Quick Release Plate? It has a capacity of 8Kgs and is in 4 sections. Also "breaks up" to make a monopod. Legs made form 1.2mm aluminium.

It was going for around R2100!

What, in that price range, is as good, better etc etc etc

Thanks :)

OK i have another option - same make but A2692T Tripod and B-1 Ball Head and PU-60 Quick Release Plate for around R2000!!

So i recon the A2692T with the included ball head the capacity is 12Kg is a better deal!

Any comments?
