Tampa, Fla.– Former President Donald Trump dominated the 2024 GOP presidential nomination straw poll at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit Sunday, Fox News has learned.

TPUSA polled conference attendees—youth activists from around the country—who they would vote for in 2024 if Trump decided to launch another White House run. The straw poll was sponsored by Turning Point Action, the affiliated 501(c)(4) of TPUSA.

78.7% attendees said they would vote for Trump.

19% said they would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, 1% said they’d vote for South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, 0.5% said they’d vote for former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; 0.3% said they would vote for Sen. Ted Cruz, 0.3% said they’d vote for former Amb. Nikki Haley; and 0.3% said they’d vote for former Vice President Mike Pence.

At where?
That's a really obscure metric - a bit like an award for the best yodelling donkey in Reykjavik.
Ooh, I'd pay R5 to see that.

The world won't be able to handle another Trump presidency (this message will be misinterpreted by one side of the aisle).

How much would you pay to see a pair of turkeys doing the cha-cha?

Won't he be too old to be president again?

Then again, Biden is around the same age.

He is too old, but he's the de facto GOP leader. All the other potentials are standing nervously aside hoping he'll not run and then they need to kiss his ring if they hope to stand a chance at the ticket.

Trump is easily the favourite for 2024, however like Biden wasnt good for the Democrats he wont be for the Republican's. Too old.

He speaks to the Republican stronghold in simple language which they can understand and he has a loyalist community which is probably more dedicated to him than Zuma loyalists are to Zuma.

Both he and Zuma may not be the most ethical people but they are intelligent politicians when it comes to relating to people.

He'd probably beat whoever tries to contest him for the Republican leadership by a landslide.

These days, it's not rare for people to live up to 100 especially in developed nations. I don't exactly think he'd be too old. Lots of people are retiring from politics well into their 80s now and if elected, his next term would end when he is 82.

With that said, Biden will probably retire from politics if he loses his next run.
