He speaks to the Republican stronghold in simple language which they can understand and he has a loyalist community which is probably more dedicated to him than Zuma loyalists are to Zuma.

Both he and Zuma may not be the most ethical people but they are intelligent politicians when it comes to relating to people.

He'd probably beat whoever tries to contest him for the Republican leadership by a landslide.
That's why the others would hope he doesn't run. And then they'd need his endorsement to win or better that he doesn't endorse anyone and doesn't oppose the eventual nominee. He's not even much of a conservative but he has them by the nuts.

These days, it's not rare for people to live up to 100 especially in developed nations. I don't exactly think he'd be too old. Lots of people are retiring from politics well into their 80s now and if elected, his next term would end when he is 82.

With that said, Biden will probably retire from politics if he loses his next run.

Life expectancy is 75 for males in the US. In the business sector people get put out to pasture in their mid 60s, some take a back seat advisory role. US presidency is an incredibly demanding job and is no place for 80 year olds.

Would've been a perfect time for Johnny Depp to rum for GOP nomination.

There wouldn't be enough COPIUM reserves for the Left if that happened...
Why? Aren't Hollywood actors all leftwing? If you exclude the chair whisperer in Clint Eastwood, that is.

JD falls within that special category...same as the Musk/Twitter situation...the Left do not know if they must love him or hate him. That makes it even more fun.

...this isn't going to end well for America if he gets nominated.
Contrary to the narrative peddled by left leaning media the USA done very well under Trump looking at most metrics. Tactically he was very good and made mostly good moves. Trump's main problem was his addiction to Twitter trolling which lowered the dignity of the office and hurt his reputation.

Biden on the other hand plays the "nice old man shtick" and spits out nothing statements which are less controversial, but tactically he is a totally disaster and the country is playing stupid with just about every chess move.

Neither party has someone electable.

The Democrats had a decent party until they got infested with Progressives and their brain rot.
They have nobody good left.

The Republicans pretty much only have De Santis who is any good, but he needs a few more years before he can run.
