That's why the others would hope he doesn't run. And then they'd need his endorsement to win or better that he doesn't endorse anyone and doesn't oppose the eventual nominee. He's not even much of a conservative but he has them by the nuts.He speaks to the Republican stronghold in simple language which they can understand and he has a loyalist community which is probably more dedicated to him than Zuma loyalists are to Zuma.
Both he and Zuma may not be the most ethical people but they are intelligent politicians when it comes to relating to people.
He'd probably beat whoever tries to contest him for the Republican leadership by a landslide.
