Here's an interesting visualisation of the loans Donnie two-scoop' has coming due in the next four years:

Anyway...

So, a man who calls himself a billionaire but whose lawyers argue can't afford litigation on California, is starting a social media company that would give him his own online presence to monetise with small Dollar donations toward his reelection from minimum-wage supporters... maybe just in time to pay for 555 California Street, Trump Tower and 1290 Avenue of the Americas, huh?

Yeah, I see no reason to worry about being grifted here.

No sirree.

I can't believe they couldn't even setup a social network/twitter clone by now.

If stupid Americans can stop limiting themselves to AWS/Linode/Godaddy/etc, and start exploring outside them country, it will already give them a better start. They'll also have to setup their own mini app store as those deplorables don't know schit about side loading. Oh, and don't use a dot com domain.

A Special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) is essentially a type of shell company that is set up by investors to raise money through an IPO for the purpose of acquiring a private company.

Just saving someone Googling it.
also notorious for crashing on retail investors days after the merger

they could easily, but behind every right wing commentator is a grift to fill their pockets...see Bannon stealing funds to build the wall, Alex Jones and his bone broth, every anti vaxxer selling vitamin and Trump the billionaire endlessly raising funds to fight the fraud.

Grifting is the objective and their fans are the marks

Trump Wants to Build a ‘Non-Cancelable’ Internet for Conservatives

The Trump Media & Technology Group’s pitch reveals the perceived existential threat many conservatives and Trump specifically think they are facing online.

On Wednesday, former president Donald Trump revealed the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), a “non-cancelable” media company to “rival the liberal media consortium.” It’s pitched for an audience of conservatives like Trump, who’s been banned from Twitter and Facebook after his followers attacked the Capitol on January 6.

The problem with the Internet is, that it gave most people a voice. Empty cans make the most noise. This goes for both sides.

The words you use here are formulated to be an abstract defence mechanism, therefore most won't see through it and react as you expected.

I looked a lot at comments against Trump, and most were empty, meaningless, vulgar, and actually reinforce Trumps efforts to meet the corrupt corridors head on, which then bring out the bad from the other side. I could not see much depth from the other side and the Symptoms of the last 30 years left over the planet, cannot possibly be Trump..........Interesting when COVID19 arrived on the scene.........
A lot from the other side is just rinse and repeats of Abstract Narratives created, nothing meaningfull.

He's a six-time bankruptee who had to pay $25 million in settlements to victims of his fraudulent university, and he's not allowed to run a charity in NY 'cos he stole from cancer kids.

His only asset is his brand, and that's toxic to the majority of Americans.

Nearly a Billion in loans coming due, so your man has his hat out like a beggar at a traffic light 'cos he knows folks like you will drop in your small change; and folks like you are the bitter-enders, you know, the folks who haven't realised it's over.
