Trump steps up China tariffs - Dealing retailers another blow

For American retailers, what Trump giveth, Trump taketh away.

President Donald Trump’s administration, which said just 10 days ago it would delay until December some of its new tariffs on Chinese goods, has hit the retail sector with a new blow: The new levies will be raised to 15% from 10% as retaliation after China threatened to impose additional tariffs on $75 billion of American goods. And Trump asking (well he thought he can “order” them hahaha) American companies to find other places to build their products including doing so in the US.

Another crazy Trump week (and this was the least of it) and one can’t help but wonder when China will yank the debt they own

Most probably they waiting for the time when they are most vulnerable, use what ever leverage you have to hurt them, at the time it will do the most damage
