I’m wondering if whether me being able to speak Afrikaans makes me an Afrikaner. I have a homeloan, so am I farming flowers in my garden? Do I qualify according to Trump? And if not, why is he placing cultural divides onto a race issue?

Not every person in the white minority can be a business owner, some of us are utterly f**ed with BEE.
I'm just making it these days 'cause I'm lucky enough to contract to international companies, up until a few years ago I had to leave the local corporate industry hugely in part due to the fact that attempting to change depts. even in the same company you've worked in for years was nigh impossible because of racial quotas, nothing else.

And now, even if you are a business owner there's a tidal wave of arrows in the knee you have to take to make it work.... it's gone too far.... you are smoking your socks and you clearly have not spoken to anyone outside your bubble if you really believe what you are saying.

That said, yes there are a whole bunch of atrociously stupid and ignorant Afrikaners, just as there are for any race/group/whatever.
It comes with the territory.

Oom Trump should probably start with the white squatter camps.

They are surely more marginalised than most and we have been told they're only there due to BEE/DEI/Wokeness anyway.

one could argue the Afrikaners have been ready to MOVE for a long time now,

cant really read what its about, but watched the documentary about them, and their beliefs,
you lot have been ready and waiting for somebody to say, okay, come in.

So much so they keep on screwing them over with new policies and changes. Especially Trump. His soy beans debacle cost farmers billions of dollars in his first term and DOGE shutting down USAID has cut 8 billion dollars in his second term.

Practically, it probably means that South African farmers will be pushed to the front of the queue for Visa applications, but they will still need to qualify. They just won't be competing as directly with all other farmers from around the world.

just like in Gaza, with Trump saying voets3k to the Arabs, I think the logistics have yet to be worked out,
it might come down to race, as the Americans will say, are you considered White under the ANC BEE laws, well then,

heres your green card, and have a seat on the C17 out of here.
they might go according to surname, as thats what the BEE laws say and taget amny times,

but I suppose they will work something out, before any actual evacuation begins.

The idea that AfriForum is such an omnipotent organisation that they alone convinced the President of the United States to sanction South Africa is certainly flattering, but fantastically unrealistic.
