Try SimplyMEPIS: Distro for the true noobie!

I just installed Simply MEPIS 11 x64 (Live DVD) Download it from distrowatch.com. my notebook is a dell vostro 3700 with nvidia geforce gt 330m and broadcom wireless driver; Mepis detected and installed the drivers from DVD and everything works out of the box (no need to tinkle or tweak anything--it just works). I am still testing it so not much to add except to say I am amazed. and Did I say it a tad faster than Ubuntu Natty.
