If you got it a couple of years ago it popped out the micro version, not the nano.

Jeez I'm so out of date, so i got one size less than full, that's mini right?
So i need to ask for a starter pack and migrate to a micro sim? That should work right?
I on prepaid mtn, so hows it usually done?
Unless you don't want to keep the number you just need to do a sim-swop to the smaller type. If you ask for a starter pack they'll think you want a whole new number. They know what sim-swop is.
Delivery is often free from Takealot anyways now![]()
I need something easily rootable, and customisable with Roms
Oops, quite correct and I screwed up on the cutting guide as well here's the correct one http://www.iphones.ru/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=31965If you got it a couple of years ago it popped out the micro version, not the nano.
I hate to say it, but Samsung or possibly Huawei are the best options. Samsung are almost un-brickable if you are talking rooting and custom roms and such, and because there are so many of them in the world, there is almost always an option on a ROM and rooting. I mean I even had a custom ROM on my old galaxy pocket.
Huawei are a close second, and they even have guides on their website on how to unlock bootloaders and upgrade to latest versions of android, and they are becoming increasingly numerous, and so are the ROM's.
No page for the Ascend G525? That's surprising. Granted Huawei wasn't very popular back then but it was once a fully capable phone.
