Hey everybody,

So my parents in Durban wants to switch to fibre. They currently have fibre already installed to their apartment and they said that Telkom installed the line, but any ISP can be used?

Does Telkom actually do stuff like that? Or is it actually Openserve that may have come and done the installations?

I know that's not a lot of information, but it's kinda hard for me to get more since I'm living in Johannesburg and my parents don't really know about fibre.

In terms of location; they live in Umhlanga (Autumn drive), which is about 5 minutes away from Gateway mall.

Also, if it's Openserve, is there any way I can find out which ISP's offer their services on that line? Wanna find the best deal for them.

Thanks!

If it's openserve you can use any Fibre or DSL account on the line.

You can type in the address on webafrica, afrihost, openserve and probably a couple more sites.
