Sounds like a corrupted database?

No, reported single outages, peoples street boxes (sucks if it is locked) or their DB trips (and they don't check), due to lighting or water ingress amongst other reasons, then there is the reported neighbourhood outages due to various reasons.

Better, this one shows Faerie Glen is out, while the other one you kept posting has no detail and makes the whole Tshwane seem down.

Yup, I think the system has been broken for months, just like the official Tshwane Load Shedding schedule webpage,

Not a universal system. Each province/city/town seems to have its own ideas on how to inform their citizens of outages.

Not a universal system. Each province/city/town seems to have its own ideas on how to inform their citizens of outages.

Yeah, we just know when the lights go off.... Its pretty good system.

Yes my elderly parents are affected as well today which is why I checked. But my area also shows issues on the site without there being any.

And Koedoeberg sub (Faerie Glen) and parts of Moreleta due to cable faults at Wingate/Moreleta subs! Me, my parents and both my brothers are off - each one because of a different sub!!

We lost power for 7 hours the day before yesterday. Cable fault in Wapadrand led to our distribution tripping and it was not restored until the cable fault was fixed, even though they could have restored power via an alternative route.
