yea, more of an ironic/sarcastic response than anything else.To brag about that would be a collosal mistake, I'm happy the social media team has enough common sense not to.

It's unfortunately impossible to provide free services in perpetuity to the majority of a population. It is expected, after all they (ANC) did promise free electricity
Townships and informal settlements are disconnected all the time so it is no longer news, unlike the Sheraton and all the big businesses being disconnected.Strange No bragging on the twitter feed...
Free electricity to the poor, which they are providing. It is expected, after all they (ANC) did promise free electricity
Oh yeah, what happened there? Hotel failed to do due diligence and pay its municipal bill? Or have somebody pocketed the money instead?unlike the Sheraton and all the big businesses being disconnected.
No idea, I read somewhere that they are going to court.Oh yeah, what happened there? Hotel failed to do due diligence and pay its municipal bill? Or have somebody pocketed the money instead?
R23 million debt.No idea, I read somewhere that they are going to court.
This is the policy at a lot of companies and the real reason is that the toiler paper is being looted on a daily basis to be resold when supplied by the employer.Go easy on them guys... they couldn't even pay for toilet paper.....

Is it not safely locked away in those dispensing things? This is the policy at a lot of companies and the real reason is that the toiler paper is being looted on a daily basis to be resold when supplied by the employer.
Indeed. It's not the time to fix it that I'm concerned about, it's the riots that will happen when you cut the free electricity. That needs to be managed and contained.
If your employees need to loot and resell toilet payer in order to subsidize their income you have bigger problems. This is the policy at a lot of companies and the real reason is that the toiler paper is being looted on a daily basis to be resold when supplied by the employer.
Government employees are paid well. They still loot.If your employees need to loot and resell toilet payer in order to subsidize their income you have bigger problems.
Single ply toilet paper rolls?Government employees are paid well. They still loot.
Single ply toilet paper rolls?
"Olivier emphasised that the Denel Lyttelton campus should have been handled differently from other facilities because it is a National Key Point (NKP).
“It’s all well and good to say you treat all customers the same without fear or favour, but objectively speaking, this isn’t the same type of facility as a shopping mall,” Oliver said.
Cutting electricity to the facility could have created a national security risk."
How is that the municipalities responsibility? Seems like Denel leadership should all be fired for putting a NKP at risk no?
City of Tshwane, say it!This.
Fire the entire lot as they put the country at risk.
And we'll fcking done to the City of Pretoria
Pretoria is still correct when referring to the actual place.City of Tshwane, say it!
Agree. Blame shifting to deflect from their failures. It's not City of Tshwanes responsibility to pay Denels bills."Olivier emphasised that the Denel Lyttelton campus should have been handled differently from other facilities because it is a National Key Point (NKP).

It's the municipality that is switching off and the name is City of Tshwane.Pretoria is still correct when referring to the actual place.
Tshwane is just the municipal name.
