Wow, you must be a gymnast in your spare time, because that is quite a stretch. He is the one who brought up skin colour where it's totally irrelevant, yet here you are going all white victimhood on me.

I asked if he is white to show him how absolutely irrelevant the skin colour of his neighbour is for the discussion, he probably got the message that's why I did not pursue the discussion further.

Absolutely no need for the butthurt.

Lol! Certain things remain! And clearly priorities differ! All I can say: they are trying to keep up with the Jones’s and clearly not getting it.

Its nothing to do with skin color! Pay what you use! As easy as that. We are in this for all the free riders enjoying it for free

And sadly, the DA is running the city for years now! They keep blaming the AnC. Its always the blame game!

I guess the irony is totally lost on you? Sometimes when you have made a boo boo the best thing you can do is just to let it go and hope everyone moves on, it's much more dignified than what you are doing now.

What message was that? You are the one that confirmed that race was relevant.

I am lost ? Go read the news ! Not everyone is paying their due's and want free services !

Look at the news, its all corruption ! Eskom is trying really hard and look what comes out ! How does an upmarket hotel owe R25KK ? I would cut them off and leave them for month.

I hope you are at least paying your bills for a start !

Good to see that Tshwane under the DA are doing something. Something the corrupt and incompetent ANC has failed for 28 years.

Its the way I wanted to go...But the Mogale Sh!!ty water division said there are no meters available so I had to take what I could...I had to pay for my own meter....It was either a R6k meter or be billed R1000 per month for an estimated reading..With no delivery time on a municpal meter...

They are just useless...

You are incorrect. The DA had a minority coalition in the council. That is like being the thin kid at karate camp. They are in no way "running" the city, as the councils, executives etc are heavily occupied with ANC and other RET goons. You can't just fire everyone in a municipality and appoint your own political party. Also, remember the ANC placed Tshwane into administration and took over again, depleting all reserves again.

Tshwane on power and water cutting rampage

The City of Tshwane on Wednesday continued an aggressive campaign to switch off the water and electricity connections of customers whose accounts have been in arrears for more than three months.

City manager Mmaesebata Mutlaneng, Tshwane Metro Police officers, and city technicians visited numerous businesses and government buildings to switch off connections.
I was giggling way too much at the tweets yesterday like no one's safe huh?

Would you look at that, start to disconnect a few of the non payers and all of a sudden the rest start to make payment arrangements.

Why does it state Sheraton has the biggest bill but it clearly says:

  • Department of Infrastructure Development — R245 million
  • Department of Public Works — R110 million
  • Sheraton Hotel — R23 million

Probably the biggest "private" bill.

But for me what is interesting is 2 days of effort from say 20 people at an average of say R30k per month has netted a good few million in revenue that was outstanding.

Fairly decent return on effort if you ask me.
