My cheap chinese inverter would shut down when the grid disconnected. Was pain because the PV would also stop. Old tech grid tied setup.

Now my Sunsynk works it’s own magic voodoo.

I keep an eye on my meter and help Eskom a little bit here and there to keep my bill around R200 a month.

Good arrangement as long as they don’t find out.
