Howzit ppl of the palace....

listen here i'm not a expert on the whole display type thing...so help me out here

...the market is just to confuzing

(HDMI,HDTV,CRT TV,480i/p,720i,1080,Upscaling......:sick: )

confuzing???

okay...answer this...say you have a standard 74CM Flatscreen television (not LCD or Plasma)

what would it's resolution be (480,720,1080)...or explain how it works please

for pal tv, it should be 720x576

but very often they broadcast in a lower resolution.

It is a complicated subject. take a look at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-definition_television

HDTV is 720p and 1080p

SDTV is 480p(NTSC) or 576p(PAL)

HDMI is the connector/input for HDTV tv's

LCD and plasma have nothing to do the the resolution.

Your TV will be 576p (or is it 576i - cant really remember)

The i and p refer to whether it is interlaced or progressive scan
