SABC CEO Dali Mpofu said the broadcaster would enter the space “one way or another”.
erm, aren't there only three? While MultiChoice carries the four SABC channels free of charge, it does charge the SABC for carrying its Africa channel
SABC1 (46), 2 (47), 3 (48) and SABC Africa (53)erm, aren't there only three?![]()
So then, by proxy, the public will be paying for the same SABC content... twice (TV licenses). Yes, that makes PERFECT sense.
You might be able to but satellite is the only way I can get it.I agree.
That and the fact you can pick up SABC with a coathanger, with or without a license, so there's hardly any need to have it on satelite as well!![]()
ah, but check that quote again - they're talking about four sabc channels plus sabc africa.SABC1 (46), 2 (47), 3 (48) and SABC Africa (53)
lol - must be.ah, but check that quote again - they're talking about four sabc channels plus sabc africa.

I think if they went to communist school we wouldn't be in this mess we are in. Communism is after all for the common good of the people and not for profit in contrast to this capitalist system we have.Obviously this boy, Poison Ivy, Lyndall and their crew all went to the same communistic school.
But, SABC Africa is broadcast on SABC2 effectively making only 3 channels again for the poor folks here. Probably counting the real fourth channel which broadcasts only a multi-colored soccer ball wasting even more of the license money, a channel which could be used to broadcast such things as, I don't know, RWC and ICC perhaps so we can watch our programs in their normal time slots when we want to.SABC1 (46), 2 (47), 3 (48) and SABC Africa (53)
