Twitter Blue returns — with more checkmarks

Twitter Inc. resumed selling its Twitter Blue premium offering, which gives users a blue verification badge by their names, following a weeks-long pause because some subscribers were using the paid service to impersonate well-known accounts.

After several postponements, the social network said in a blog post that Twitter Blue is available now.

Yes, and the users still won't pay for it *shrug*
Maybe government and corporate accounts might, but your average users and celebs probably won't care for it and will eventually move on to other platforms.
Twitter is still pretty popular in the tail-end of 2022, but remember the original verification checkmarks are still there....

Its definitely the platform to watch as we head into 2023. Users are a fickle bunch and for most of them their experience probably won't change much.

I'm an outside observer though, I've never cared about it even at its height.
