Gave up on Disney +, no more lovee , this is buffering, why is it doing this... , don't need that ****, I wanna relax, and enjoy what little time I have off. Not my fault Disney cannot do a "proper" job, and, well, there are decent alternatives.

Thing is, Netflix was early into the game, so had much time to iron out these bugs...
Showmax was terrible in the beginning but wow Disney Hotstar feels like those old Android Showbox pirate streaming apps and even that was better when I had a 4mb ADSL line

Would be good if the article also covered PC users experience. I run a media pc on my tv. So all streaming services are loaded through an Edge browser. (chrome/firefox only go upto 720p)

1. only 720p streaming available (using Edge browser - which has DRM rights for HD content - Netflix/Prime etc all stream 1080p+)
2. tv shows/ movies go out of full screen view when the show ends/ goes to next episode.
3. pathetic UI/UX. Cannot find all movies/ tv shows. Forced to basically watch/choose the 10 options for a genre that they decide you want to watch. Cant even select genre as a search method. You have to type it out in the search box in full - so you cannot search for SciFi you have to type Science Fiction instead. And search is on its own page???? why not just have a search bar for each page view?
4. constantly having to select my profile again to log in. Why can it not remember me?
5. buffering
6. 'Continue watching' shows starts playing the last episodes end credits even if we have moved on to the next episode already.
7. Complete lack of English subtitles for shows that have forced foreign languages. (Ex: Daredevil, Defenders et al have bad/no subtitles.) - why cant they use the existing subtitle content from US/UK side etc?

These are just off the top of my head. But i know ive had more crappy experiences with it.

And god forbid you tell their social media about your issues. They love to just say: please take it to our support team on chat.disney.blahblah

Why people pirate 101
Some pirates would still pirate even if some of these services were free. They have time to waste. The Disney+ service could be better but still a world better than pirating.
