Norway is always an interesting one.

How one incident from a white nationalist terrorist, who embraced the great replacement theory, put Norway out in front.
Yeah it shows how much an outlier can influence statistics in a small population group.

Ps he had training which in this case was bad. Which is why I mentioned that training won't help address crime associated with firearms.

Right there. It's not in the statute nor was there an intention for it to be. Hence no loophole.
If you said there needs to be more laws governing the private sale of weapons then you'd be correct.
Is this you responding to my post, or sharing your Oxtail recipe?

At this point it's impossible to tell.

I mean, why should the US bother with anti-abortion laws?

People who want or need an abortion will just go about it illegally.

So why do they waste so much time on this legislature?

You post the dictionary entries, but then still argue against it.

Here let me post it for you again.

"..especially : an ambiguity or omission in the text through which the intent of a statute.."

Yes murderers find a way. Irrespective of laws.
Covers both your poor abortion analogy and firearm laws

Well you seem to be making the argument that any law made is useless because people will find a way around it.

Abortion was illegal in Ireland up to the end of 2018. Yet, 4000 women per year travelled to England and Europe to carry out the abortions.

Those who couldn't afford to travel took illegal ones, or self medicated to induce. Estimates for 2018 were around 2300 per year.

In Brazil, over 250 000 women are hospitalised per year due to complications from illegal abortions.

So using your apathy in respect to ways to affect change, why bother with abortion laws?

I did no such thing. It provides a deterrent or framework for the masses. There will always be those that circumvent it. Many people don't have an issue with background checks since it does not really affect them. Some object to in because they see it as an overreach by government.

I'm aware yes. Again murderers don't care too much for laws.

Yet in every instance you argue against proposals that seek to assist the subject, with apathy.

What do you propose?

Imagine calling Savita Halappanavar a murderer.

This woman may have a point. Abolish policing and also the military. Let the people sort each other out. This is the only way peace will be achieved in America and across the globe.

Are you now pivoting to abortion laws? Load shedding in 2 hours so I'll pass thanks

Exceptions are not the rule. It's always funny when this is the go to defense.

A bit old, but 60 minutes did a segment on new technologies involved with the cure for Covid and other diseases. Quite interesting.

A bit obvious why the conspiracy theorists latched onto this to say it proved them correct.

Not pivoting, I am asking you if your approach to laws in general is apathy, then why would people bother for anti-abortion laws, or any law for that matter, since they don't matter and people get around them anyway?

Only low information, small minded people would draw those conspiratorial connections.

Military advances have brought about so many advancements in technology that has benefited civilian life as well.
