You are aware that claims like this require some level of evidence?

1) I doubt Biden would try to appoint loyalist judges. it just isn't his style. It was totally Trump's style though, btw. He Mugabe'd the hell out of the government.

2) I'm not sure what the SC even has to do with a one-state party. The SC is meant to be independent (like the Justice Department until Trump fired the AG and instated a loyalist).

It's the Republicans who have been hell-bent on shaping it into a partisan body. The 3 branches are where the parties come into play, and those are elected democratically. If one party wins all 3 branches, then the government is controlled by one party, by design.

This is nice, but not evidence of court packing.

Can you please try somewhat harder? Thanks

Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene are trying to get an American First Caucus going in the House.

Their platform is... I wanna say... interesting.

"Across the country federal elections have been undermined by using voting machines that are readily compromised and illegally accessed whereby results appear manipulated"

America is a nation with a border, and a culture, strengthened by a common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions

"The America First Caucus will work towards an infrastructure that reflects the architectural, engineering and aesthetic value that befits the progeny of European architecture"

... and leaning right into replacement theory.

"While certain economic and financial interest groups benefit immensely from mass immigration, legal as well as illegal, and the aggregate output of the country increases, the reality of large segments of our society as well as the long-term existential future of America as a unique country with a unique culture and a unique identity being put at unnecessary risk is something our leaders can afford to ignore no longer."

Yikes!

EDIT: I love Julia.

Wow...Oregon Democrats just gave up control of redistricting due to delaying tactics by Republicans...BIG WIN for the Republicans.

Legislative Democrats in Oregon have agreed to relinquish a powerful advantage in redrawing the state’s political districts for the next 10 years in exchange for a commitment from Republicans to stop blocking bills with delay tactics.

The surprise deal, reached Wednesday evening after a weeks-long standoff that has brought legislative action to a trickle, fundamentally shifts the dynamics not only of the 2021 session, but of one of the most consequential actions lawmakers will take this year. With the agreement, Democrats, stymied so far despite holding supermajorities in both legislative chambers, appear to have gained a far easier path to passing much of the agenda they’ve queued up this year.

But they’ve essentially granted veto power to Republicans, who can now block any map of legislative or congressional districts from passing.

“It’s a gamble,” said state Rep. Rob Nosse, D-Portland, shortly after the deal was reached.
