Uber and Bolt Gauteng drivers meet companies over prices and using older cars

Gauteng MEC for Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure, Jacob Mamabolo, has welcomed the commencement of the mediation process between the Gauteng e-Hailing Partners Council (GEPCO) and e-hailing technology companies, Uber and Bolt.

“We applaud all parties for agreeing to participate in this process. We look forward to a fruitful mediation process where all parties will cooperate to ensure successful resolution to all issues,” the MEC said on Monday.

Must be tough, when petrol price went up, uber didnt charge more. And drivers didnt get more.
Have sympathy for most drivers.

However you get some low life chancers.
Drops you off at 2am at your house. You are slightly intoxicated at that point thats the whole point of using Bolt.

You specifically ask him if he ended the trip before getting out. Guy proceeds to drive an extra 20km to a new hotspot area on your credit card after dropping you off at home.

Reported it to Bolt. Got an instant refund.
Seems to have been some AI reading my message as the reply was generic and instant.
Rather impressive how bolt handled it:thumbsup:
