Anderson Silva showed no respect to his opponent clowning around, playing silly mind games and deservedly got knocked out in the 2nd round.

The rematch will be interesting if Silva wants to.

Didn't know the sport section required a spoiler tag.

I wasn't even browsing the sports section... it was up on the "Forum Discussions" section of MyBB's main page.

I'm probably the one other UFC fan on this site and I always make a point not to go to certain other sites on sunday morning before I've watched the fight card.

Oh Well...

End of an era I guess... still haven't watched the fight... it's like I'm afraid to.
Anderson is my hero, and I was so looking forward to watching him destroy GSP. Now that fight will probably not happen.

38 years old, 6 year and 16 fight winning streak... the legend has been shown to be a mere mortal after all.

I guess I should get round to watching this fight now...
I watched the prelims already: was impressed at Edson Barbosa's destruction of Olivera. Having had knee surgery myself... I yelped when those last 3 kicks landed. Poor bastid

Sorry then.

I enjoyed all the matches on the main card.
Even the Kennedy, Gracie match I enjoyed although most didn't.

Anderson still looked in good shape, more like he needs to work on his head as he lost the fight rather than his opponent winning it.

Just watched the fight...
Yeah... too much clowning around.

He's had success with taunting his opponents like that in the past but he went way over the top in this fight. Feet in the wrong place, swayed in the off balance direction and the punch came from the opposite side. A rookie error from the best in the world.

Oh well... thus ends an era.

I wanna watch the press conferences tomorrow to see what Dana thinks of the way it ended, and to see his paw paw face that the mega-super-fight cash cow extravaganza with GSP has lost some of it's appeal.
And to learn what Anderson wants to do next.

Props to Chris Weidman, he kept his head straight and his mind on his job. I'm not sure if he'll be able to hang on to the title with so many movers and shakers at middle weight, but he's king of the hill for now.

kennedy vs gracie was a little painful to watch... when one guy is so one-dimensional like Gracie was, it gets annoying.

I guess Anthony Pettis is injured again!!!
I was really looking forward to him and Jose Aldo! That would have been a CRACKER!!!!!!
Jose will eat the Korean Zombie and spit out his brains... at least for the first 3 rounds... then he'll tire... and coast again.
Pettis would've given him WAAAAAAAAY more problems.

Oh well... Till next time!
Glad to see another UFC fan in these parts!

At least change the title so the spoiler isn't right there on the what's new page.
