Well to be fair, the Tories have allowed record levels of immigration as well, which is definitely not what their voters demanded. No wonder Reform is taking away so many of their voters. But Labour will likely result in even more immigration into the country to levels never experienced before.

The fact that they're talking about giving people from Rwanda asylum in the UK as part of the deal makes the whole "Rwanda is safe" thing an obvious lie.

Exactly. Such a contradiction. I was flawed when they said "trust us" and refused to be challenged on it.

From what basis do you make that assertion from?

As far as I can tell, Labour supports some of the current immigration policies put in place very recently by the Tories and has no plans to reserve them. Talking about legal immigration here and also not asylums.

The Ukraine War is what fulled a lot of the current immigration into the UK. The government fact tracked all those applications.

The Irish government reckon the 80000 or so illegals that came in from NI all did so to flee the UK because of the Rwanda policy, so it may be having some effect after all.
