[UK] Sunak to announce an election for July, Sky News understands

Greg showing his usual ignorance about the UK electoral system and how Reform actually had a big effect on the outcome, even if it's not properly reflected in seats (check how many seats Tories lost due to the Reform vote). How about adding the vote share of the Tories and Reform together? You might be surprised at the outcome of this calculation.
Yup... smash and grab job of the Tory nazi gammon base by Reform, so well played by the chief nazi gammon on his eighth try, I guess.

Also, happy to see you've found a safe 'vote share' space to work through the trauma of the 411 vs 119 you'll be going through... Best of luck with that, Chris.

Well, he was reelected in May. So he isn't going anywhere until 2028 at the earliest.

Looking at bit in to his time in office; what changes has he made that you do not agree with and why the hate?
Is the UK elections like france where london city is sperate from the rest of the country like paris?

Sort of, but also not quite. London is a very left wing place (much more than the UK as a whole) but Labour is strong in all big cities and university towns. Problem is most of the media is also located there, which is why they have no idea about what is going on in the rest of the country.

Mayors are elected outside of general elections. London had it's first mayor in 2000 - and there has only been 3 of them.

Same as here, lesser of 3 evils and all that I guess.

But yea, as can be seen, no major shift just the extremists are now in the eff or reform or whatever the party is called.
Here we have PR system where 1% party who fokkal voted for can be mayor and and MEC and stuff.

I want fellow rightoids to moan about this like we would if a muslim said the same thing.

Sunak's grand plan. Send all asylum seekers to Rwanda (Effectively deporting them) to have their asylum cases heard and decided whilst they are there. And that the government says Rwanda is safe - trust them on that and no you can't challenge them because they said it's safe.

The idea was to get all / most asylum seekers out of UK hotels / boats and send them away to be dealt with later on down the line. In exchange.. Rwanda will send their asylum seekers to UK (Because, remember, Rwanda is safe bro)
Oh, ok, so I assume all the trouble makers are coming from Rwanada only? I thought all the illegals are coming from all over, especially from Ala Akba countries. Is Rwanda a muslim country?

This is sounds like a typicial BS politician sound byte fillerbuster that is not based on anything in reality.

Does the UK have fillerbusters?

I can't wait for the King to just say "**** IT", your **** is over, I'm taking **** back.

Anyone that has a problrem with it can get their head chopped off.

Regarding France, is Paris a separate country or something?

Looking at the heat map of the round 1 results, the whole country has colour except Paris.

Just saying the majority is built on weak foundations. That's all.
It's not weak if the majority of voters endorsed their policy proposal. Even though it's a low turn out, they can only go by those that voted and the majority of them gave Labour the mandate to govern. Yes it's lower than what Corbyn could muster and not even close to what Blair achieved, but it's still not problematic or lacking a mandate.

The majority of voters did not endorse Labour though.

That post is intended to be inflammatory. It's nothing of value. So engaging with it is giving antisemites and racists what they want.
Or, you know, it's news because she said that as the wife of the leader of a party that's seemingly pro-Palestine.

Maybe now that Wales has ditched FPTP and moved closer to PR system, England will follow at some point.
Is it as easy as that?

Just do it, unlike us that have to take everything to Zondo and we must listen to his heavy breathing while the "constitution" tells us the hoops we have to jump through and remind us we can't shoot thieves in the back?

Corbyn cruised in with an 8 000 vote majority as an independent. Summarises that aspect of the English quite well.

Kudos to Rishi for conceding with good grace.

He didn't claim electoral fraud, declare himself the bestest ever since the genesis of all things bestest. He also didn't encourage horn-wearing "accidental tourists" to accidentally invade the houses of parliament. I thought he came across quite well actually.

Also glad that Jacob Grease-Mopp lost his seat. He can now go back to the 18th century and hopefully live a peaceful life.
As an outsider I can guess he is like the ANC. They are tired. They don't want to do it anymore so it makes perfect sense that they concede with pleasure. They still get their salary and perks.

It's all still a big con, like america and australia with their 2 party state.

Its a joke and the people must grow a pair and vote for the 3rd option.
