Ulaunch ELF & backing up PS2 save games

Has anyone successfully done this? I've burnt countless .ISOs and none of them work. Thanks in advance.

Are you using blank CDs or DVDs? Have you managed to successfully burn and play any games from isos using the same burner/software/media you're attempting to burn uLaunchELF with?

It works but you need a modded PS2 & USB memory stick. Here's a guide to uLaunchElf (Section D is all you need ):

Thanks for the input but still no joy. Perhaps if I explain in detail someone will be able to tell me where I'm going wrong:

My setup:

Machine: fat PS2
Model: SCPH-30004
Modchip: Matrix Infinity (I think. It plays backups no problem)

I dl'd uLaunchELF v4.37 CD and burnt it straight to CD. Thereafter I tried to load it in my PS2 but it goes directly to the PS2 browser screen where you see the 2 mem cards and the CD.

I don't want to build a .elf compilation - I just want to be able to backup my save games.

I also tried the 4.40 .iso on several different types of discs, including the Verbatim 52x CD-Rs, still nada. Any suggestions?

Try downloading the DVD version http://sksapps.com/launchers/uLaunchELF_v4.37_DVD.zip
Make sure you burn it at a slow speed at least 4X else it won't load.

Also consider installing freemc boot on your memory card not only will you be able to backup your save games but you will be able to use your ps2 as a media centre. http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/

The simple media system rocks for playing movies and mp3's.

I have it networked to my pc and use my ps2 as a media centre.
