I haven't used my cell c sim in a while but as of next month it might become my main sim (if cell c will give me some kind of support).
I forgot the password to login, and requested a password reset, i received a 15 characters temp password, with no indication on O's or zeros...couldn't log in and my account got locked out.
Then i decided to get the password emailed to me, copy and paste temp password, still doesn't work...i spend the whole of friday trying to get in, i called the support number and someone promised that they will get back to me in 15 minutes and they didn't and on sat i sent an email. and i still haven't received a reply.
My colleague have exactly the same problem and gave up.
I work in IT for over 10 years, and for one of the biggest university in the country and i don't understand why cell c implemented such a strict password reset policy (that also doesn't work)
1) sending a 15 characters password via an sms , with no indication of zeros or O's
2) locking out the account for an hour after 3 tries
3) captcha also doesn't indicate zeros or O's
They should implement some kind of "click on this link" for a password reset , or a simple (maybe even numbers only) temp password that will only be valid for an hour.
