Uncapped ADSL Proxy without P2P

After having quite a bit of trouble with NoCap, and now also getting very little response from ODS, we have decided to check interest levels for a ADSL Internasional Proxy, but without any P2P, well at least for now.

We are backed by a well established ISP based in Cape Town. If there is enough interest then we are seriously considering putting up our own proxy.

So basically, I would appreciate any ideas and or opinions from you guys/girls. Pricing, structure whatever you can think of.

Would definately be interested if the price is right.
At work we easily go past the cap, but most of our traffic is local. We only access international sites maybe once or so a day for a few minutes at a time. So we really want to be able to browse International sites towards the end of the month. Having 3 ADSL accounts is just to much trouble here, not mentioning the costs.

SnowWar,

Tweak your managerial office monkey a bit. Businesses really shouldn't be using the Telkom ADSL offerings, the 3GB is mostly not enough and switching accounts all the time is unacceptable.

If you can get your office monkey to budget + - R2000 per month for internet, you can get totally uncapped and unshaped ADSL from DataPro.

At this point in time the ISP prefers not to be mentioned.

If there is enough interest in this service, especially in Cape Town, then we would like to get 3 or so users to test the proxy for a week or so for monitoring purposes.

From the DataPro site:

Telkom port shaping in ADSL Cloud

It may be uncapped but is still shaped. [:(!]

Well, our proxy will be based in Cape Town, so that would also make a bit of a speed difference for the Cape Tonian okes!

SauRoN,

When will this be done? I am urgently looking at all the possibilities before a decision is made and a decent proxy will definitely be the easiest option. Keep me updated please.
