i get the idea no P2P is allowed as they supply the pre-configured router...



I'm with Openweb Uncapped 384k paying R799. Not sure if they still have this offer but for this month, i'm well over 110Gig. P2P works great.

The guys making use of the openweb 384 /512k uncapped service - do they force you to make use of their router or may I use my current router? That is the only thing putting me off on the imagine-isp offering .

What's ODS' Speed like?

I use the openweb uncapped on a 4mb line, and at night I never get less than 1MB speeds.

torrents ( but well seeded ones of course hehe )

online gaming intl: WoW
800-1000ms (depends on realm/server - EU i know has high latency)

gaming local
15ms

youtube streams smoothly

haven't tested p2p at all yet.

i must say that from sentech (5-10KB) and now on ADSL my local administration to my servers at work is smooth and fast.

even microsoft's file download manager for MSDN subscribers nice speeds
