Uncapped bandwidth complaints

Hi,

has anybody noticed the lack of uncapped bandwidth complaints?

I'm downloading like mad and getting the equivalent of aroun 250kbits/sec - everything is international. Previous month ends trying to access the web was slow, never mind downloading megastuff.

Should we thank Sentech for providing competition or did something else happen?

Question? Are you using P2P or straight downloading/FTP. I find emule is normally slow. However Ftp is better. But I happen to agree the speeds for ADSL uncapped are not healthy and capped are quite sad.

My ADSL conn has its moments. But its never constant. You must remember Telkom said this is a best effort service. How you define "best effort service" is open to discussion. This will be hard as we have no other service besides Sentech to make a comparison with And as Sentech is Wireless, we actually have nothing to compare our service to. As in a local ADSL Benchmark.
