Uncapped DSL now available from Afrihost starting at R297 per month

Afrihost has slashed the price of its Pure DSL packages with an uncapped, unshaped broadband service now available at under R300 per month.

The Pure DSL price adjustments follow Openserve’s decision to upgrade speeds and cut prices on its copper network.

Openserve reduced rental prices on its Pure Connect product – also called Naked ADSL – on 1 April 2021.

Yes. I cancelled my axxess/vumatel after they increased my 10/10 from R550 to R755. Switching to back to DSL or looking for a better deal on pigatel.

Too little too late. This is what I always asked for. Now it isn't available because Telkom decommissioned its DSL because another network has rolled out fibre. Can't make this stuff up.

Yup, same in my area.
Telkom turned off DSL. Stuck with shetty overpriced LTE for 2 years.
But now we have 2 FNOs rolling out in my area. None of them Openserve.

The price is R297 for the 5Mbps Pure DSL package.

Afrihost also have their faults, but you got to hand it to them, they have been setting the pace for this industry for many years.

Pretty good pricing, pity I had to move away, No batteries on the exchange in my area. Was stolen a few years back, telkom does not replace the batteries anymore.
