Uncapped, unshaped ADSL with Internet TV in SA

More info on what the channels are all about would be great. I just hope sport will be one of those, especially formula 1 & all the other motor sport.

This sounds amazing! I would definitely ditch dstv and get this. Especially at those prices. Unshaped 24/7 :)

I recall another thread dating back about a week in which someone mentioned they were beta testing an IPTV service which had about 70 channels mainly BBC and ITV in the UK.He mentioned that the service was getting ready to launch towards end of year so seems likely it pertains to this article.Forgotten the name of thread though

Very promising. There will always be the 'problem' that Supersport is possibly the best value on earth though. We get coverage of everything (minus American sports) at a price that couldn't even buy you all the Premier League games in the UK.

This is the future of TV. The sooner we get options the better.

Maybe the whole digital terrestrial TV thing should be scrapped and high speed broadband installed instead ;)

R539 for uncapped unshaped ADSL, which is exactly what Mweb charge for their shaped package. Even if you have to take a TV package (cheapest is R99) it would be a fantastic offer.

R99 is 70HD channels. Lets see.... DSTV offers about +-5 channels for the premium package!

R180 for 183 HD channels!? :wtf: <R1 per channel haha. This could really be a game changer

Thats right! Our cellphone providers charge R1 a minute! This company should have been here years back already! I do hope this will come through!

Is this even legal. If DSTV have bought the rights to certain shows etc, will another company be able to legally distribute it without paying DSTV a fee, especially if some of the channels show the same sports as DSTV. Weren't the olympics streaming an issue in just such a case. I also see this as too good to be true, but hope I am wrong.
