A bit on the expensive side as well, as my 100/100 uncapped unshaped line is cheaper

Why don't you offer fiber in my area? Which is the question on most people's minds.

Th offering sounds awesome without a fair usage policy or shaping, and I would sign up right now If it was available for me. Openserve is creeping closer and closer to our area, but it is still a couple of areas away unfortunately.

It is a pretty good deal yeah, one that I would take (10mb down 5 up) but unfortunately the infrastructure is not there. This is a widespread issue.

It's almost perfect contention with a QoS mechanisim enabled on their end. Those are actually pretty good prices if you know why you need it

How does your international latency look like? Which upstream provider do you use?

Local anything from 5-30ms depending

UK/Europe 190 to 220ms depending

We are using Seacom/WACS

You did not mention that these prices were for the openserve network in the article or in this thread anywhere. Thus why I made the comparison with my current package.

Are all your uncapped/unshaped deals @ 100/100 on Openserve Contract based?
I don't want to enter a 24 month Contract if I can get the same @ another company without a contract

Openserve coverage is so close to my house, which is so frustrating, They creep closer and closer every now and then, but even though my whole area has pretty much signed up their interest at openserve it feels like its going too slow XD Soon(tm)

Hi Henrico101,

We offer month to month aswell. The monthly prices are the same for both.

24 month = free install
Month to month = R3000 for install

Lets say I already have everything installed, then I just contact you to switch ISP's?
