And this is why you need better public transit, e.g. MyCiti a week pass is R250, so R1k/month or so, public transit costs what it takes to operate, expansion is paid for by the city/government.

Which class in school tells you about relationships, marriage/divorce, the financial cost of having kids, what they'll require to raise for success, how it'll affect your freedoms, etc...?

If you thought of these things ahead of your 20s, then congrats because I think you'd be an outlier.

I myself would have gone the same way had certain events not taken place. It's only in hindsight and through looking at the f'ups of other people that I have realized such.
