I knew call centre agents were not coining it, but R4500? Mayse she must do some security training, ours at work gets between R5.5k to just over R6k depending on number of days worked.

Risk of death.
Potentially longer shifts.
At times which taxis may not reliably operate.
Risk of death.

For 1.5 extra ?
Nope.

One of my clients…

Before Covid they had a fleet of taxis transporting their call centre agents to the office and back home, no cost to the agents.
Since Covid they have spent a fortune to have them work from home, installing desks, chairs, internet access, terminals.

This is the place to work for as a call centre agent.
The rest, not so much.

The issue i Have is when poor people make babies they cant afford and then cry to the rest of us, same way you see ladies standing by the robots with their young children begging. It is unfair to the child but the selfish parents dont see it. They just keep bonking and keep popping more out.

What is poor in your view? Are you wealthy? For someone who posts sheit 24/7 on this forum, you sound like a bum living in your mum's basement.

With a salary of only R4 500, she also has a 5-year-old child to support. She says she has no choice but to budget.
Story continues below Advertisement

Nolizwi saves R3 000 for her daily taxi commutes, R700 for her child’s transport to crèche and R500 for daycare. This means the young mother is left with only R300 for necessities such as food, toiletries, phone data and more.
R3700 for transport. R500 for daycare. That leaves her with R300 per month she makes she has to spend on food.

If she quits her job, takes the R350 unemployment allowance and does nothing all day she would make more money.

Has to wait a year to qualify for that grant.
If other threads on MYBB are to be believed.

33 and still staying with your parents.... Eish.
Nothing wrong with that.

I know a white oke (yes race matters in these matters) that is far older & still lives with his folks.

And no he is not a bum or slacker.

How would she pay for her child's schooling?

You're correct, though I would think that a 5 year old should be in a pre-school. Isn't grade 0 or R a requirement these days?
She thinks she is under pressure now. Just wait until her kid goes to school. Public school cost between 30 and 60K per year.
